Thiis was our best place to get tamales in Weslaco, since we lived here for 15 years. I am sorry to say not anymore!!!!! I live in North Texas now but we visit the valley often and stop here on our way back home May the 29th around noon we bought 6 dozen tamales, borrachitos, chicken and cream cheese, & pork. ( I'm giving this info so that they can find out what employee did this) Well let me just say you need to have your employees wear gloves!!!! We found a bandaid in our tamales.🤢 It was on the outside of the corn husk not inside, but still that just ruined our appetite! No more Ybarra tamales for us.

The best tamales, even after 30+ years. I’ve been eating borrachitos all my life, it is part of my soul. I would highly recommend these tamales to family and friends. The habanero sauce is fire 🔥 and this bring back so many memories for me. My grandpa used to bring me here, and we used to fish at Falcon and take a bunch of these tamales. Still my favorite 😍

This was my first time going in there. And the customer service, it was phenomenal. The tamales 🫔 were a little under flavor I wish they would have pico de gallo for the tamales, the banana nut bread, the soft and delicious. I will definitely go back for pastries. It maybe try another flavor tamale.

Taste - 5 stars all day! Best Tres Leches and Better Than Sex cakes you will ever find. $22 for this small premade cake. Mid range pricing for high quality taste. They offer to add writing on the cake for no extra charge. Unfortunately I closed the lid since I was in the car myself so the banners icing stuck to the top. ☹️ Cake itself is still intact as you can see. After speaking to the employee at the register and reading past reviews it seems that negative experiences arise from called in custom orders. As far as walk ins go, all around good.

!!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD !!!! We have gotten so many cakes from this place 1st I asked for the cake to be ready by 130pm and I didn't get my cakes till 330pm, 2nd the cake was still warm, 3rd the cake slid to one side as you can see in the pictures... but that is not the end of it... when we called to complain about the cake, the lady that answered was so rude and stated that the cake damage was our fault STATING " OMG YOU SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES" She said we could take the cake back so they could fix it but I would have to pay more.... It's so sad that we got very very poor service from the lady on the phone.... !!!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD !!!!
