Encalio Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Encalio collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains information for our websites, applications, event planning tools, vendor marketplace, messaging, ticketing, bookings, media galleries, and support services.
Information we collect
We collect account details, contact information, planner and vendor profile data, event details, guest and RSVP information, ticket and booking activity, payment-related records, messages, support tickets, reviews, media uploads, device/browser data, logs, preferences, and consent records.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, show vendor listings, help plan events, process bookings and tickets, send notifications, support users, prevent abuse, secure the platform, improve features, measure performance, and comply with legal or payment obligations.
Messaging, SMS, and MMS data
When users opt in or otherwise request messages, we may use phone numbers, consent records, message content, MMS media URLs, delivery receipts, reply keywords, credit usage records, and carrier/provider metadata to send transactional, support, event, booking, ticket, marketing, SMS, MMS, or account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, START to opt back in, or HELP for help where supported.
Payments and financial data
Payments are processed through third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Encalio does not store full card numbers, CVC/CVV, or full bank account numbers in application-accessible systems. We may store payment status, tokenized processor identifiers, invoices, fees, refunds, payout, dispute, tax, and booking records needed to operate the service.
AI and automation
AI and automation may help classify content, review policy issues, draft vendor onboarding data, summarize support or operational information, or recommend planning actions. Sensitive payment data, full card numbers, CVC/CVV, full bank details, identity documents, and private payment credentials should not be made available to AI components.
How we share information
We share information with vendors, planners, attendees, collaborators, service providers, payment processors, messaging providers, hosting providers, analytics/security tools, support staff, and legal/compliance parties only as needed to provide, secure, support, or improve the service.
User choices
Users can update account details, notification preferences, SMS consent, vendor profile data, event visibility, media sharing, and certain communication settings in the application. Some records may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal, payment, or dispute purposes.
Beta and testing data
During beta, users may submit test events, test vendor content, feedback, diagnostics, and support records. We use that information to vet access, improve workflows, troubleshoot bugs, and prepare launch operations.
Cookies and logs
We use cookies, sessions, logs, and similar technologies for login, security, preferences, fraud prevention, performance, troubleshooting, and product improvement.
Security and retention
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards such as access controls, audit logs, encryption, MFA options, backups, and monitoring. We retain information as long as needed for service operation, legal compliance, security, dispute handling, backup integrity, and legitimate business purposes.
Children and event guests
Encalio is not intended for unsupervised use by children. Event hosts are responsible for collecting and using guest information lawfully, including information about minors where applicable.
