I provided an inspiration photo for my custom cake and understood it wouldn’t be an exact replica. However, the finished cake looked significantly different from the design I requested. The inspiration cake featured detailed decorations, florals, and elegant finishing touches, while the cake I received was much more basic and lacked the overall aesthetic I was expecting. I was also disappointed with the quality of the cake itself. It was dry and tasted more like a boxed cake mix than a custom-made cake. Considering the price, I expected better flavor, texture, and attention to detail. I’ve ordered several custom cakes from other bakers over the years and have always been pleased with the results. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations, and I do not feel the final product reflected the value of what I paid.

I order a cake and cookies for my nieces graduation party this past Saturday. When I ordered I told the person on the phone I needed to picked up by noon, because I needed to be at the venue by 3 to decorate. On Saturday I got stuck in the Thunderstorm like everyone else and at 12:30 while on my way to Janet's, they call with questions about the decoration of the cookies. I question it because my pick up time was 12. They then inform me my pick up time is 3 pm. I'm thinking they are behind because of the rain, so I adjust my schedule. I then get to Janet's to pick up my order a little earlier (2:45)hoping it will be ready. It's not. The lady at the front says it will be a few more minutes. 20-30 minutes goes by still no cake and cookies. When I ask and say that I asked for a 12:00 pick up originally all they tell me is that the card says 3:00 and that if I can't wait I can cancel the order. Well 4:00 rolls around and they finally finish the cake. it looks ok but the colors a

Terrible experience. Ordered a birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday and sent the picture to Janet’s Cakery email as asked so they could reference it. Not only could they not put the decorations, which they asked me to purchase separately, they did not make it the correct size, color or even remotely what I showed them, which wasn’t hard to begin with. Went to pick up and saw the cake and asked whether they referenced the photo I sent and they brushed me off saying that they went by what was written on the paper. Not only was the one decoration they did do the wrong color, it didn’t even wrap around the cake as if they were too cheap to add one extra swipe of frosting on a 70+ dollar cake. I order chocolate cake with cream filling and there was barely any cream in the middle. Overall extremely disappointed by this establishment, I was a lifelong customer and have been let down too many times by this place (and kept giving them the benefit of the doubt) but more than anything the lac

It’s a long family tradition for any celebration to have a cake from Janet’s. Been customers a lifetime. From my kids first cake to their wedding cakes. When it was my daughters sweet sixteen they delivered my daughters cake. It will always be a memory that I cherish. They are a staple in all our celebrations

I had two cakes in two weeks from here and wow!! So much variety, so little time LOL!! The combination of flavors is endless, but you can guarantee that no matter what you decide, your cake is gonna be awesome! And don’t get my started on their perfect icing!
