I had been a loyal customer of Tango Bakery for more than 8 years and always loved both their cakes and customer service. Unfortunately, my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered a cake for my niece’s graduation that cost $159, including delivery. My first disappointment was learning that store pickup was not allowed and delivery was mandatory, which added a very expensive fee — about $70 in our case. Even worse, the cake arrived an hour earlier than the scheduled delivery time and, shockingly, it was delivered without a box. The delivery driver simply left the cake completely uncovered. I honestly question whether this even meets proper food safety standards. It clearly reflects a lack of care and professionalism toward customers and the products they deliver. Instead of maintaining the quality and standards that made customers loyal in the first place, Tango Bakery seems to be cutting corners at the customer’s expense.
