We ordered our wedding cake from Pennington's after a recommendation from our wedding coordinator. We originally planned to just order a small cutting cake and supplement with Costco sheet cakes for our guests, but after attending a tasting we couldn't help but get our sheet cakes from here too because of how incredible the flavors were! The tasting flavors weren't even our top choice flavors were, but a couple bites in and my husband and I both agreed it was the best cake we'd ever tasted! We went with lemon with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream, chocolate with mocha ganache and chocolate buttercream, and red velvet with cream cheese buttercream, and I just wish I'd had more room in my stomach to eat more at the reception!

One of the best parts of our wedding! Pennington's was so easy and fun to work with, and they executed our cake perfectly! We had so many guests come up and compliment the cake all night, not a slice was left! Beautiful detail work and delicious flavors. We did a white almond cake with raspberry filling, and chocolate cake with chocolate ganache. Would highly reccomend!

Pennington's Cakes was absolutely incredible to work with for our wedding! They created a beautiful dessert bar that everyone loved — lemon bars, sugar cookies with the sweetest wedding-themed icing, rich brownies, and even some gluten-free cupcakes (which our gluten-free guests couldn’t stop raving about!). I wanted a simple, lemon cake with minimal vanilla icing and it turned out and tasted just how I wanted it! So good! They were so patient with my indecisiveness, super responsive, and somehow managed to pull everything together on a very short turnaround. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better. Highly recommend Pennington Cakes for anyone wanting delicious desserts and wonderful service!

Stephen and his team did an ABSOLUTELY amazing job on our wedding cake! We drove from our home in north Austin to San Marcos and have to say 15/10 recommendation. There was not A SINGLE PIECE of cake left at our wedding! Everyone kept asking where we got our cake from! The amazing taste, the fluffiness, the flowers? Our cake was one of our prides. My husband and I went to school in San Marcos, we hold it close to our hearts. Thank you so so much Stephen and Team! Literally the best cake ever, it was a total hit!
