Tank Town has a rugged, vintage aesthetic that appealed to us initially, but our experience planning our wedding there was frustrating. Communication with the owner was extremely difficult—we had to follow up 4-5 times just to get partial answers to our questions, and responses often took months. During our second visit for measurements, the owner was dismissive and unhelpful, which made us regret booking immediately. If they had treated us that way from the start, we never would have chosen this venue. Getting basic information felt like pulling teeth, and every interaction left us dreading the next phone call or email. Overall, we made it work since we were too far in with our payments but, we wish we had chosen somewhere else to not have had the added stress that comes with planning a wedding.

Tank Town is a one of a kind event center that has reused a grain elevator and turned it into a reception hall that is versatile and fun for any event. We got married in front of the silos and had our reception in the venue!

This is the BEST venue for fun events. I loved the wedding reception we attended there. This space can be country, laid back or incredibly upscale depending on decorations. It’s an amazing space! I especially loved the outdoor deck with pool and the patio with fire pits…adjoining the bar! Fabulous party space!

Had a blast at this little hang out spot! Perfect atmosphere for my wife and I to enjoy a night out to let loose and drink a few beers! Friendly people and the owners and staff were awesome! Definitely will be going back to support this local establishment and everyone else should do the same! It's Great!

Such an awesome place is how I must start. I’m a country boy living in the city now and Tank Town was just a super satisfying place to enjoy the event with friends and new folks I met while doing so. You’ll know if you ever get to experience it haha and Lockhart’s downtown square is literally 2min away. Must be the place to hold an event in Lockhart. Plenty of parking. Plenty of space. Building to admire. Numerous restrooms. Well done. Highly recommend. Cheers.
