I’ve been using this salon for the last 6 years now. Everyone has always been super kind and professional! Trey Cook has been my stylist throughout that time and never, in those 6 YEARS, have I not been pleased with his work. The fact that he genuinely cares about what I want means everything. He offers gentle advice when asked and simply goes above and beyond. I’m so thankful for him!!

I called them after getting the worst haircut of my life and Special FX saved me. They fit me in the next day, spent a ton of time on me, and brougt in other stylists to make a game plan. Honestly, I would trust the staff with my life. Cass cut my hair and was so, so helpful. She really gave me a ton of time and the attention to detail was next level. With that said, everyone there weighed in on my hair and made some good points, so I really don't think you can go wrong at Special FX.

Emily is incredible. I will definitely be going back and looking forward to my trips. I've tried just about every place in town and she has treated my hair the best. Perfect Zero on the sides and my Mohawk stayed up all day long in East Texas heat.

I got a wild hair (ha ha) to something edgy but not too extreme. I had never been to this salon before but Katt TOTALLY got where I was coming from and gave me a really fun cut. I even decided to add some color at the last minute which she was totally open to and helped me decide what to get. Katt is the best and I will definitely be back!
