I have to bring my wedding rings to the Zales next door for warranty checks every 6 months. And every time without fail, my sweet 6 year old asks to go to the music store after. He makes a beeline straight for the piano up front and starts playing. So my husband and I decided to sign him up for a piano lesson to see if he would like to learn how to play, since he enjoys piano so much. He was so excited! Imagine my disgust & disappointment when the lesson instructor, upon learning that my son has ADHD, told us: "You should probably find a different teacher." OK sir. We certainly will! Shame on you for discriminating against a CHILD with a mental disorder, despite the fact that he is on medication and is incredibly well behaved.

Stopped in a couple weeks ago to get a violin and guitar repaired. Max the young gentleman that assisted me was very kind and helpful even though he was newer on the job. As such he was unsure if he was quoting me correctly on the work to be done and mentioned the manager would be back in to double check and verify the info. Not a problem as I wanted to look around to see what goodies I could find for my kids (Drum set, sax, acoustic guitar). There was plenty of space to move around, store was clean and nicely organized, lots of little extra accessories most of us don't think about. There was plenty of parking out front with easy access to main roads. When the manager showed up he took a look at the violin and mentioned it would be between $75-$100 for the violin repairs depending on parts and time put in. As for the guitar he mentioned it probably wouldn't be worth fixing as the neck was too far out to play properly even after fixing it. So I bought a simple inexpensive Squire guitar/

I went in the Burleson location for guitar picks and a tuner. I mentioned plans for a guitar build and Collin Wassell took the time to hear the tone I'm hoping for on this build, and suggested the perfect pickups that I didn't even know existed! He also explained the pros and cons of the pickups/wiring I was planning to try, and how they may not get the tone I described. I'm 100% taking his advice. I've also been contemplating a cello purchase this year. Even knowing I couldn't buy one that day, he still went out of his way to explain a LOT about the violins and Cellos. Extensive professional Technician guru knowledge and experience across the board on every topic. I highly recommend this store. It's not huge, but they still have a great selection of instruments and you can't find better guidance and customer service elsewhere.
