The steak salad was so very tasty. The sausage was delicious and so good. Service was attentive and well above what some of the reviews have posted. The salad bar has just the right items and the baked potatoes are out of this world scrumptious. Definitely worth the trip to Childress.

This is a great space and our server was great! My bbq was good, but a bit under salted for my personal preference. It was still fresh and good. We also enjoyed our time here. The decor was fun to examine. I didn't drink, but my friend enjoyed his margarita. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

More like bottom of the barrel BBQ. Everything is bought from Walmart. Green beans are from a can, mashed potatoes are quite literally (not lying) instant mashed potatoes…… sausage was whole sausage that’s processed like it’s a hot dog. And the worst part was the BRISKET…. Half of it was fat. If was even good, moist and 100% smoked, I’d be ok with a little fat as it is brisket. But this brisket tasted and had the consistency of a brisket that was smoked for half an hour and then put in the oven the remainder. The staff does their job but the minimal. The prices reflect their food…….. cheap

Over the years I've loved stopping at this BBQ place in Childress, TX., and it was still good just not as good as in the past. Serving sizes have shrunk to about 2/3 of the amount while prices have doubled. They didn't offer us rolls or bread as in the past and due to being packed at lunch it was very noisy at 1st. There is more seating available as they about doubled the inside dining area, but created a problem of not having enough parking space now due to the interior expansion. Service was pleasant and quick so overall still consider it a good place to enjoy your BBQ with family and friends. Everyone should give it a try to see if it's to your own liking. We were told by others to stir away from the catfish & stick with the BBQ, but I haven't ever tried their fish so that would be up to you. They have a large variety of sides and offer peach cobbler or pecan pie for dessert. And yes, for people interested, they do offer a variety of Beer. We had water with lime or lemon. Overall it

1st time we tried it, I wasnt a fan. But we decided to try something different and give it a 2nd chance. I dont suggest the chicken fried chicken sandwich but I DO RECOMMEND THE COWBOY FRIES. Fries loaded with chopped BBQ, shredded cheese, nacho cheese, BBQ sauce, chives and sour cream. Yummmm This is a full order but they do offer a half order as well.
