From the moment I booked this venue in late December of 2025 for our March 14, 2026 dual celebration for my daughter’s wedding reception and baby shower, Sylver and her team have been amazing! ✨✨ They were very patient with the ever changing ideas, provided amazing guidance to calm our nerves and made the most beautiful evening come to life for my daughter and her growing family. 🩷 The staff…I can’t say enough about how great they were! They were so attentive, friendly and made the event flow smoothly. Thank you to Liz and Isaac for the accommodations prior to the party and made the house look amazing and clean! Amisty, Kaitlyn and Maddie-our hostess and bartenders! Fabulous, so caring, sweet and made sure everyone had their drinks in hand! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I attended the comedy show here on March 27th, 2026 with my wife and another white couple. The service that I received was absolutely atrocious and appalling. To start, we purchased the "VIP" tickets and there was no VIP seating at all. It was first come, first served when it came to seating. So, our party of 4 took a table that seated the 4 of us. When the waitresses came to take our drink orders, all of us put our drinks in at the same time and put our credit cards on file (2 different tickets). We didn't order any weird cocktails; we ordered what was on the menu as the featured drinks. Well, the white couple that was with us received their drinks in short order while I waited about 20 mins for mine. Once mine finally came, I had to call the waitresses over twice to get my wife's drink finally delivered about 20 mins later, while random bottles of beer and wine were being sent over to our table. We had such a lovely evening at The Abbott House in Seguin! The courtyard is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect setting for a date night. The owner was so warm and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We really enjoyed the food, and the comedy show made the night extra fun. We’ll definitely be following their events for future date nights or even a nice lunch. Highly recommend!
