5/5 from Paula Lloyd

Love this winery. There is ALWAYS something going on. They’re so involved with the local community and trying to help the square grow. They staff is top tier and always the friendliest and best. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy local wine or if you prefer beer they make that as well. The food is always the best. If you’re anywhere near Sabine County and Pineywoods Vineyard is open you’ll want to stop in.

5/5 from Tara Sharma

The Pineywoods tasting room radiates warmth, charm, and impeccable taste. The interior is beautifully designed—hand painted walls and a stunning main staircase, with thoughtful details that make every corner feel photo-worthy. Their charcuterie board is a showstopper, brimming with cheeses, chocolates, and colorful accompaniments that are as delicious as they are artful. The wine selection is outstanding, each glass is full of flavor, with friendly staff ready to guide you to your new favorite. Whether you're stopping in for a tasting or lingering over a board with friends, Pineywoods is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again!

My awesome coworkers ordered me a huge charcuterie board for my Birthday and Pineywoods Vineyard went above and beyond!! I love this little slice of heaven in Hemphill and am so grateful for all of the people that make it such a great place to visit!

We finally stopped here while visiting the lake and it was great! The staff were incredibly friendly and excited to share their wines and story. We thoroughly enjoyed their selection of dry wines and traditional styles wines. They didn’t make us feel pressured to hurry even though we showed up late on a Sunday afternoon. This is a true gem in East Texas and worth a visit on its own. Just go!

A true gem in downtown Hemphill! Right off the town square, the winery’s tasting room is so artfully decorated with an elevated 1920s ambiance that transports you in time. We thoroughly enjoyed the custom wine flights, loved the Blanc du Bois, Viognier, and Primitivo as well as the Sparkling Malvasia Bianca. It was such a nice touch to have a live musician playing there on a Saturday afternoon afternoon. We will definitely be back and often!
