As a lesbian couple looking to get married in Houston, we had several other queer couples recommend Avant Garden. We loved the idea because we both have history at the venue, growing up going to shows there and performing there in our 20s. Mariana really knows what she's doing and takes care of her couples. We had an aesthetic vision that was a little non traditional and a very non traditional ceremony, but that was no obstacle for Mariana and the team at Avant Garden. Our wedding went off without a hitch and was the most beautiful day of our lives! We catered with the taco truck which everyone loved, & Mariana found an incredible group of all women mariachi singers to serenade our guests during cocktail hour. I've never seen the venue more beautiful and it was surreal making such unforgettable new memories there. Mariana was always so respectful and welcoming of our ideas. Even the DJ the venue used was incredible and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been t
