James Simmons from Austin Area Weddings was the absolute perfect officiant for our ceremony. He took the time to get to know us, understand our love story, and really made the ceremony personal and meaningful. James’ warmth and authenticity made our vows even more special, and we felt completely at ease throughout the entire process. Our guests were moved by his words, and we couldn't have asked for a better officiant to marry us. Highly recommend James for any couple looking for someone who will make their ceremony truly unforgettable!

James officiated our wedding on 5/9/26 at Chapel Dulcinea. If you want your wedding day to be completely seamless, stress-free, and full of incredible energy, do yourself a favor and hire James. We planned our wedding in just two months, and James was hands-down the best decision we made. He is the ultimate professional who truly understands what a couple (and an anxious bride, lol!) needs. From a detailed initial Zoom call to guiding us through the venue in person, he was there every step of the way. A week before the big day, he even walked me through everything one more time just to put my mind at ease. James's energy and personality are completely contagious-our family and friends are still talking about how wonderful he was. Between his officiating and his team's incredible event coordination and music, our day at Chapel Dulcinea simply would not have been the same without him. Hiring James Simmions was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From our first conversation, he took the time to truly get to know us and craft a ceremony that felt completely like 'us'! He was incredibly communicative, kept us calm at the altar, yet knew exactly when to throw a joke in or make us laugh. Our guests mentioned about how beautiful and heartfelt, yet funny the ceremony was! Highly recommend!

The absolute best decision we made! Working with James was hands-down one of the best parts of our whole wedding. From the very first time we spoke, he was just so easy to talk to and instantly made us feel like family. James didn't just officiate our ceremony—he helped coordinate the day and made the whole experience completely stress-free. He is a truly caring guy who listens to every single request and actually makes it happen. He made our wedding day the most magical day ever, and there is no officiant in the world we would’ve rather had. We highly recommend him to anyone getting married! Honestly, we’re so happy to be married, but we're seriously going to miss just chatting and catching up with James because he is an all-around awesome human being.
